Beside

Imagined in Montreal in 2016, BESIDE was born from the desire to create a global media brand at the intersection of nature and culture. The project quickly grew, giving rise to a unique offering: BESIDE developed expertise in publishing, accommodations, events, and hospitality.

As part of its relaunch, BESIDE redefined its strategic positioning and refined its brand identity to focus its offering around three main pillars: BESIDE Habitat, with its nature-based cabins; its editorial content, embodied by a biannual magazine; and finally, its boutique, featuring its publications and a carefully curated collection of products.

I was commissioned by BESIDE to support the creation of a one-stop shop that would bring together all of the brand’s offerings on a single platform. This project had three main objectives: to deliver a more unified brand experience, to clarify the understanding of BESIDE’s universe and its distinct offerings, and to provide the new platform with a structure that can grow alongside the company and its evolving services.

Accommodations (STAY)

The accommodation section now allows users to explore multiple destinations offered by the brand. Each destination has its own dedicated page showcasing the unique features of the region, available activities, and the selection of cabins. The cabin selection process has also been streamlined with a clear interface that makes it easy to compare different options based on their specifications.

The magazine

The editorial section of the site enables the publication of a wide range of articles from the magazine. Several modules were designed to offer personalized selections, highlight featured articles, and organize content into thematic collections.

Flexibility

A series of flexible modules was developed to ensure a harmonious layout for articles of varying lengths and content types, while staying true to the brand’s visual identity.
